Vision
At JJ X-Ray we know that state-of-the-art instrumentation and advanced technologies can be developed anywhere that bright, experienced, and dedicated individuals with a broad range of backgrounds are given the opportunity. At JJ X-Ray we also strongly believe that the scientific community, both at the level of researcher and at the level of the investing society, benefits tremendously from the rapid yet reliable dissemination of such technologies and instrumentation. It is with this vision, that JJ X-Ray humbly approaches our mission.  

Mission
Through our expansive community network, our exceptional and dedicated people, our advanced acquired and developed technologies and our many years of experience in the field of x-ray and neutron instrumentation, JJ X-Ray's mission is to provide the community with expert instrumentation assistance either in the form of standard or adapted products or in the form of custom designs and drawn-to-order instrument solutions. Whether it be components for the do-it-yourself instrumentationalist, or larger custom assemblies, we strive to attain elegant practical solutions, reliable performance and a high level of support both before, during and after delivery.

JJ X-Ray  is small, lean and very focused, which is why, whenever possible, we make use of existing outstanding off-the-shelf components and outsource the manufacturing of our own mechanical designs to a selected number of high-quality workshops in our area. In this way, we can concentrate on designing, integrating, qualifying and, when desired, installing the instrumentation.

Location
Our facilities are located in Lyngby near Copenhagen, where we continuouly benefit from the active development and research groups at Risø National Laboratory and the University of Copenhagen, as well as to our proximity to the Max-Lab Synchrotron and the upcoming ESS in Lund.
