Christian Bjerg Mammen, M.Sc. and Ph.D., CEO of JJ X-Ray
Christian Bjerg Mammen has more than 15 years of experience in developing, constructing, and commissioning x-ray instrumentation. He holds a Ph.D. degree in physics and is a highly experienced instrumentationalist specialized in x-ray instrumentation for synchrotron facilities. With a background from the University of Copenhagen working closely together with Prof. Emeritus Jens Als-Nielsen and Professor Sine Larsen, Christian’s detail-oriented and in-depth, yet creative, approach to synchrotron instrumentation was formed. His true academic strength lies within his theoretical and practical knowledge of x-ray optics, particularly diamond crystals and various types of refractive optics. Christian will often interact profoundly with customers in all phases of a JJ X-Ray customization project.

Henning Bro Pedersen, Mechanical Engineer, CTO at JJ X-Ray
Henning Bro Pedersen has profound experience with extensive mechanical design, manufacturing, and construction. Before joining the company, Henning worked at the Central Workshop at the University of Copenhagen, where he would often be responsible for providing instrumentation for demanding scientists. The disciplined university schooling and intense focus on elegance, ingenuity, quality, and reliability are acted out by Henning through our growing internal design and the JJ X-Ray production team.
