Earlier this week Fernando and Miguel from CSPEC at ESS passed by our offices to witness the factory acceptance tests of the in-vacuum collimator for CSPEC. The CSPEC cold chopper spectrometer is an in-kind contribution to European Spallation Source ERIC from Laboratoire Léon Brillouin (LBB).
In all our custom projects we collaborate closely with our customers. They are involved in several milestones: approval of the design concept, approval of the final design and factory acceptance testing. Most of the meetings are online, but we’re always happy to have our customers and collaborators over. Especially for factory acceptance tests as it is such an important part of our way of working.
