About AIR Slits

Our air slit systems differ in three ways:

  • How apertures are formed (four individual blades (IB) or coordinated blades (AT))
  • The size of the maximum aperture
  • The body size of the slit system

All our designs – both older and more recent ones – have the following features in common:

  • Micron or sub-micron resolution
  • Micron repeatability and accuracy
  • High reliability and low maintenance (we rarely see these returned for repair)

For more details, please click on the various air slit systems on the menu. And in our slit catalog, you can have a quick overview of the large variety of JJ slit systems.
