Non-magnetic Options
Some slit systems are positioned close to large magnets. To avoid too much interference of magnetism, steel parts in the vicinity of the beam can be replaced by other materials. Typically, we will replace screws, spindles, and guides. Besides, it is possible to add extensions for motor mounts to move the motors, and possible back-axle encoders, further away from the beam.
It is possible to insert our high precision non-magnetic guides in IB-C50-AIR, IB-C50-HV, and larger neutron slit systems. For some of the larger neutron slit systems, the dimension of the housing may increase.
