The IB-C50-UHV Power Slit is developed for the European-XFEL. With micron repeatability, the 75 mm long and tapered blades can be positioned anywhere within the 50 mm x 50 mm aperture. Each blade is water-cooled from two sides and can reject 1500W of absorbed power per blade. The flange-to-flange length is only 400 mm. The roll and pitch angles for each blade are adjustable from the outside and can be adjusted with the system under vacuum.
